Registration for returning players begins late March/early April of each year, followed by registration for new players beginning May 1st. After teams are formed, the league runs from mid-September through early December. Then new teams are chosen and play resumes January through early April. There are breaks for holidays and a spring break week. Captains are the hub of communication for the league and schedule the players for each week's matches.  Players let captains know their available play dates and should expect to play approximately 5-6 times over the course of the season, or about twice a month.
